T.T.N. S.p.A. has been working in the sector of massive thermal treatments and superficial treatments for 20 years. Since the beginning it developed processes focused on pieces of big dimensions, it has, for example, gas and ion nitriding furnaces 10 meter high. Furthermore TTN is always searching for new processes coming on the market. This firm is among the first to have introduced ion nitriding at industrial level and it has an area for vacuum tempering and salt bath.
CRT S.r.l., one of TTN affiliated, was born twelve years ago and it is one of the first for PVD superficial coatings in Italy. It has currently three PVD factories and one CVD coating furnace. In these years it gained experience not only with tools, privileged target of wear processes, but also in a series of applications ranging from die-casting and aluminum extrusion to drawing, from the moulds for plastics to the food industry. We are among few factories to suggest to use zirconium nitride to work aluminum thanks to its insufficient chemical affinity.
Moreover CRT belongs to the world network of Ion-Bond®, and has a continuous exchange of information with European, American and Japanese companies leader in this sector to keep the pace with all the technological innovations, really frequent in this field.
PACVD treatment, recently acquired from TTN, keeps us among the first to propose it in Italy. We found out a system to line the holes without any limitations caused by the relationship depth/diameter.
The analysis laboratory allows one series of complete controls, GDS analysis included, to be able to measure the stoichiometry of the coating on the whole thickness. |
