Unlike other treatments, it is carried out at relatively low temperatures<\/b>, making it possible to achieve significant surface hardening<\/b> without compromising the dimensional stability of the component<\/b>.<\/p>\n

This makes nitriding particularly suitable for finished components<\/b> or components machined to tight tolerances<\/b>, where avoiding distortion or geometric variation <\/b>is essential. At T.T.N.
