T.T.N. Group: history, expertise, and structure of an integrated industrial group
T.T.N. Group is an integrated industrial company specializing in heat and thermochemical treatment of steels, surface coatings, forging, and precision machining.
Over time, the Group has developed through the progressive integration of technical expertise and production facilities, creating a complete supply chain capable of managing every stage of the production cycle in-house.
For customer companies, this means a single point of contact capable of coordinating complementary processes within an organized system, reducing intermediate steps, management times, and operational variables.
The Group’s structure represents a tangible advantage for companies that require one partner capable of managing the entire production cycle, ensuring technical continuity, reliability, and precision.
The Group: specialized facilities, complementary expertise
The T.T.N. Group consists of ten integrated production companies, each with specific and complementary expertise. This setup makes it possible to cover the entire production cycle of metal components, coordinating treatments, coatings, forging, and machining within a single operating structure.

An industrial structure designed to create greater value for customers
The Group’s structure makes it possible to carry out all production stages in-house, ensuring coordination between processes, reduced lead times, and consistent quality. The possibility of relying on a single point of contact for complex operations simplifies operational management and makes it possible to obtain components that comply with technical specifications and are ready for use.
Key stages in the growth of expertise, technology, and production capacity
The T.T.N. Group’s journey began in 1978 with T.T.N. Nerviano, which specialized in the heat treatment of steels. From that first company, the Group developed through successive integrations: each new acquisition brought specific expertise that expanded the overall offering, building, over time, a complete and vertically integrated production chain.

Why partner with T.T.N. Group
T.T.N. Group is structured to manage complex production requirements through an integrated and flexible approach, maintaining direct control over every stage of the process. The combination of heat treatment, PVD coating, forging, and machining makes it possible to manage the entire production cycle in a coordinated way, adapting processes to the component’s technical specifications and real operating conditions.
A complete range of treatments for every application
The Group offers a complete range of heat and thermochemical treatments, selected according to the material, the geometry of the component, and the operating stresses involved, including carburizing, nitriding, hardening, quenching and tempering, solution annealing, and other processes. This makes it possible to target the properties of the metal precisely, improving resistance, durability, and in-service performance.
R&D for tailored cycles and optimized processes
The R&D department makes it possible to develop tailored treatment cycles, test non-standard solutions, and optimize process parameters according to application-specific requirements. It provides the technical support needed to respond to even the most complex requests, reducing development times and ensuring verifiable results.
In-house laboratory for testing, inspections, and process reliability
The in-house laboratory carries out metallurgical analyses, microstructure inspections, and mechanical property testing, ensuring that processes comply with technical specifications and that results remain stable over time. Each cycle can be validated and documented.
Customization and made-to-order processing
The production setup is designed to adapt each process to the specific requirements of the component, from complex geometries and selected materials to particular operating conditions. The Group can also manage non-standard requests, defining timelines and technical solutions directly with the customer.
Contract manufacturing partner
The Group operates as a contract manufacturing partner for companies that require specialist expertise without having to manage these processes in-house. Direct coordination of all stages reduces operational complexity and delivery times for the customer.
Steel inventory and operational support for production continuity
The availability of an in-house steel inventory helps reduce procurement times and support process continuity, even in the case of urgent orders or schedule changes.
